Lieutenant General Andrew Gregory CB and Waves MD, Lou Whiting, sign The Armed Forces Covenant 1 April 2016.

Waves was delighted to welcome General Gregory to the Company offices to sign, and thus support, Waves’ commitment to and endorsement of the Armed Forces Covenant.  The Armed Forces Covenant is an expression of moral obligation that the government and nation owe to the Armed Forces Community.  He met employees and associates from the company and had a chance to discuss their links to the military with them and offer some words of wisdom.  Waves is a huge advocate of the Armed Forces community and employs veterans, spouses and Reservists.

It was a privilege and fitting to have a late Royal Artillery Officer to do this.  Lou Whiting and several other Waves’ personnel are ex Royal Artillery which gave the occasion further relevance.  Waves is dedicated to remain linked to Defence as a Company and through raising funds for Forces’ Charities annually.

Waves’ is at both the geographical heartland of the Army and heart of the Defence Enterprise Approach by supporting the future capability of our Armed Forces through our consultancy services.  Waves is delighted to have been awarded Gold in the 2016 Defence Employment Recognition Scheme.
