Why Waves ‘Systems Approach to Training’?
Waves are thought leaders in Systems Approach to Training (SAT) for individual, team and collective training. With international conference speakers (ITEC 2016 & 2017) and over 200 years’ experience blended with academic rigour, professional membership up to fellowship level of learning.
A SAT process comprises project activities relating to the training analysis, design, delivery and assurance of all training, both individual and collective, across the whole work force. Waves uses the Defence SAT as its basis to complete project activities but also uses other models such as ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) or other organisation standards where appropriate.

“On behalf of Navy Command Flag Officer Sea Training, Waves Training Solutions recently partnered with SCS and SVGC to successfully complete the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Development of User and System Requirements Documents (URD and SRD) that are needed to support scoping and acquisition of synthetic navigation capabilities across the Naval Service. This work will support the procurement of replacements for the 4 current, aging Bridge Trainers and will provide the underpinning training needs for a target audience comprising of Royal Navy, Royal Marine, Army and RAF personnel as well as Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Admiralty Pilots and employees from wider Government Departments."
